Flocculants and Coagulants for Mineral Processing Industries


The extensive range of MINFLOC® – flocculants and coagulants includes anionic, non-ionic and cationic charged polymers, all produced at varying molecular weights, so that all applications in the mineral processing industry. In most mineral processes where there is a flocculant requirement for either a sedimentation or centrifugation application then a high or ultra-high molecular weight product is desired. The MINFLOC® – products range offers ultra-high molecular weight products, ensuring maximum performance and cost efficiency for sedimentation and centrifugation applications.


MINFLOC® – a range of products specifically developed for the alumina industry. The range includes flocculants for use in decanters, washers and hydrate thickening, crystal growth modifiers and rheology modifiers.

    Coagulants and Flocculants

    MINFLOC* A500L aqueous solution of polysaccharides

    It is designed for the flocculation of fine alumina hydrate. The use of this product gives a much improved rate of sedimentation/filtration and capture of the fine hydrate, particularly at the tertiary thickening stage.

    MINFLOC* A600 Anionic medium molecular weight flocculant

    MINFLOC-A600 has been developed as a red mud flocculant suitable for use in the bayer process. It is designed to produce fast settling of the mud whilst maintaining or improving liquor clarity. MINFLOC-A600 is primarily for use on the decanters but can be used effectively throughout the wash circuit.

    MINFOC* A300 High molecular weight flocculant

    MINFLOC-A300 an ultra-high molecular weight red mud flocculant and is designed to produce fast settling rates at lower dose levels than conventional primary flocculant whilst maintaining or improving optimum liquor clarity.
