Microbiological Control in Sugar Mill  

(Biocide/Bactericide/Disinfectant/Sanitizer/Antimicrobials)

 

AVICIDE® and SUCROCID* innovative next-gen series are highly effective for use in controlling the growth of bacteria or kills troublesome bacteria such as Leuconostoc mesenteroides and Bacillus . Thus, it reduces sucrose losses caused by enzymatic inversion and helps to keep mill systems free of microbiological slime and odours. Our bactericides are an important chemical in the sugar manufacturing process, certain bacteria can lead to loss of sucrose in the juice by inversion, slime formation, and bad odor impacting final product quality.  The regular use of  AVICIDE® and SUCROCID* series biocides within the mill kills these bacteria and minimizes its further growth, thus stopping the further production of dextrans. AVICIDE® and SUCROCID* series bactericide should be added to the cane juice at a point or points where the micro biocide will circulate to all parts of the grinding equipment, troughs, screens, and pipes with which the juice comes into contact.

    AVICIDE* CS Polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB)

    AVICIDE CS is based on a polymeric biguanide hydrochloride and is particularly effective against gram-positive bacteria such as Leuconostoc Mesenteroides.It is a non-corrosive, non-volatile liquid that is easy to handle. It is stable over a wide range of pH and temperature and has very low mammalian toxicity. 

    AVICIDE* DMT Aqueous solution of dithiocarbamates with activators

    AVICIDE DMT is carbamate based biocide which is specially designed for out standing effect against bacteria, fungi and yeast. It reduces sugar losses during extraction. It decreases the purity fall between Mixed juice & Crusher juice.

    AVICIDE* GD50 Synergistic blend of aldehyde, polyquat and dispersing salt

    AVICIDE GD50  is a broad spectrum organic aldehyde based non-foaming fungicide and bactericide for the control of all type bacterial growth in sugar mills during extraction process, which is specially formulated to provide a bacteriostatic properties, effective against both gram (+) and gram (-) bacteria, as well as effective against fungi. 

    AVICIDE* Q50 Long & short chain dual quats with specific bio-oxidizers

    AVICIDE Q50 quat based biocide for use in the sugar industry and is particularly suitable for sugar cane mill sanitation. It is a very effective disinfectant of the cane juice. It saves the Sucrose from inversion by destroying the organism cells. These are non toxic and degradable in the course of the sugar process.
